This Week in film, Nick and Ray hack more than the Warner Bros. editors to find their way to the truth of where Charlie is.

Nick and Ray both talk about Suicide Squad, DC’s 2nd attempt this year at making a coherent movie. Spoiler alert… they don’t.

But seriously, Spoiler Alert for this episode.

Then we read listener responses to last week’s question: What is your favorite/least favorite movie remake?

Answer this week’s RaysRayndomRayquest:

What is your favorite big ensemble cast movie?

Answers will be discussed on next week’s show!

Week 28: Dark Poet: Giger Girls (The Final Girls, Dark Star: H.R. Giger’s World, Dead Poets Society)

Soundcloud | YouTube | facebook | Twitter |  iTunes | | GooglePlay Stitcher | Google+ | Website |

This Week in Film, we had some scheduling conflicts, so Ray and Charlie aren’t here this week, but join Nick in welcoming two new friends to the show: Dan & Lew!

This Week, we watched The Final Girls, Dark Star: H.R. Giger’s World, and Dead Poets Society.

First up this week, Nick goes to 1980’s camp with The Final Girls.

Next up, Dan checks out the weirdo world of Dark Star: H.R. Giger’s World, and then creates the following classic quote about what must be a smelly H.R. Giger:

“A bathtub full of books, is never full of you.”

Brilliant Dan, just brilliant.

Then Lew stands on his desk this week, with Dead Poets Society.

We answer last weeks RaysRayndomRayquest.

Then an exciting development as this week we have not one, but two different questions!

First up, Dan’s Dynamic Demand asks:

What is a movie you always confuse with another movie?

Then answer Lew’s Lighthearted Lesson Lestion:

What movie was made in your hometown?

Don’t forget to check out Lew in his other podcast:

Week 27: Dawn Awakens: Justice Force (Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition)

Soundcloud | YouTube | facebook | Twitter |  iTunes | | GooglePlay Stitcher | Google+ | Website |

Its the ultimate edition of Week 27 with an extra long run time, but does it make the show any better? Listen to it and find out!

This Week in Film join Nick & Ray as the wonder where in the world is Charlie?

Then they start talking about the movies they watched over the past week: Star Wars: The Force AwakensBatman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition.

First up, Ray talks about Star Wars The Force Awakens. This movie came out in theaters a long time ago in a theater just up the street. This was a clever descriptor.

Next Nick goes all the way back  to Week 12 and watched Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Ultimate Edition. Find out if he thought the movie was any better with 30 extra minutes of footage!

This week’s RaysRayndomRayquest, “What is your favorite director’s cut?”

You’ll have an extra long time to think of a answer for this one, because next week’s episode is already recorded. It’s summertime, people take vacations and we are trying to get a little bit ahead.

We discuss all the fun RaysRayndomRayquest answers from Last Week in Film, “What animal would you be if you were in the movie The Lobster“?
